First Time Using Liquid Latex

Here is a sneak peak of the hood I made from the Rubies mask next to one of the arms. I painted the hood the same way, I used acrylics nutmeg brown, then used black to add shadows and highlights/burns etc. I used a paper towel with good textures, and smeared it on all over to get the look, and it turned out great! I added light coats then smeared and rubbed it in, and the textures of the mask worked well with that method. I then coated the entire mask with a light coat of mod podge, which is now drying in the pics. I think mod podge is my new best friend.I cannot believe how well it turned out, almost like some weird twist of fate lol. I started with one paint brush stroke but I did not want it to look like lines painted on, so I grabbed a paper towel quickly to wipe it off, and lo and behold a masterpiece! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":biggrin:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> So just went with that from there on. I cannot wait to wear this and the part 6 and DMC Freddy. I also cannot wait even more so to see the life-sized display of this with an eye added, and part 6 when I get the maggot-head. This hobby sure is time consuming and keeps you busy. I can only imagine making a ton of stuff for other people. That must be hell. Some pieces turn out so well I would not want to sell them.
