Cool man! I did the same thing, I read this entire forum for like a year before joining. Yeah it is REAL bitch to take pictures in full costume and a timer. Man if only I had a photographer and outdoors with a quality camera... Someday I might just show up in full attire at a studio lol. My lighting drowns out the details, but I used brown acrylics and some pewter grey for the chain. It matches the weathering on my costume perfectly. Heck even the medium sized plastic chain was too heavy for my neck after about an hour, also since I used to wear a velcro strap with the gore chest around my neck. That thing tore my neck up good, so I then decided enough was enough and made a vest out of the gore chest and backbone.I love how it turned out the first time, and saves about $300 from buying one off of someone. Did you also use Rubies parts? I may even do a 3rd remake for display only, that way I can really rip the crap out of the costume and not worry about it lasting for wearing. But I usually try and find the best of both worlds. Here is the big chain on my first ever life-sized part 7. Not sure if you seen it. I am going to get a longer chain like the one I have now, and recreate that scene with my new life-sized New Blood. Only problem with all of this costume creating, once you start you can't stop!
