Hey everyone.. I just got a Tweet back from Brad Fuller and I asked him how much different the final script was from the leaked version from January 2009. He said it wound up being very different and had gone through many revisions. Let's hear your ideas! For those of you who have read the leaked script, what are the top three things you'd like to see changed and kept the same?Here's my list of wanted changes:1. Keep it timeless - Remove Guitar Hero reference. Change it to a game of pool or something. Remove "google-fu" reference.2. refrain from referring to "sleep" or "dreams" where it becomes exsessive. Example, Dean's funeral... Priest says, "Eternal dream" to describe his resting place. Dean says "Who says I sleep"? at his party. The energy drink they use to stay awake says "Who needs sleep?" on the can.3. Get rid of the "Dream Map". Show the "Tree of Crows" in Nancy's dream or something and then have her recognize it by chance or something to discover the path to the Preschool.Tied for 3rd. Make the final fight between Nancy and Freddy longer and more spontaneous. No cliche shovel bashing while calling out her friend's names and no victorious one-liners like "Watch me."Things to keep:1. Above all... keep the concept of "micro-napping". FANTASTIC idea for a Freddy film!2. Kris' death. Wouldn't change a thing!3. Freddy appearing in the back seat of the car. An awesome scare if done right!
