But no sooner than i did my 360 took a crap!! I'm getting an error E 79 and it says to contact Xbox support or i get almost a full red ring except for the top right hand corner. This sux! My 360 is only a year and a half old. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/verymad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":verymad:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"verymad.gif\" /><!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI only had mine (it was the Elite even) for a year and 4 months or so, then I got the 3 quadrants of red light like yours did! It took about a week and a half. I also received a letter with mine stating that with some people, they just decide to give you a BRAND NEW XBOX360. So the one I got back was brand new, it wasn't my old one refurbished. You will probably get a new one since you only had yours for a year and a half before it's melt down...unless they can tell that you ran the Sheep out of it. I think they have like a "black box" type of thing inside them, which records your total hours spent playing, all the games you played, all the music you ripped, perhaps all the movies you watched, everything you downloaded. I think they plug in that "black box", look at your usage and then based on that, decide to refurbish your XBOX OR just replace it!
