I was DOJ handgun safety instructor for 7 years and i sold a lot of glocks and others in 40 cal. with the 40 cal you get more velocity than a .45 and more knock down power then a 9mm. Ive shot just about every hand gun that's legal in California and 40 cal would be my choice in any make or model to carry.
