Well last week on Thursday, I slipped on ice pretty hard. I heared a pop.... it was actually more like if u bit into an apple. Well anyways, i was swollen and i couldnt walk for about 1 day.I went to the Doc, he said it was a bad sprain. and he made me waste $63.00 or MY money for a ankle brace. I was walkin just fine. I walked about 30 Flights of stairts (in all) up and down my school for a few days. Then yesterday i felt somethin weired aobve my calf. I was just fine, no pain.. just a weired feeling. After school i went to get X-rays and they found out my ankle was broken. and they also said that the brace didnt help the ankle at all! what a waste of money! But i will get payed back by insurance.
The Doctor said "What are u smokin\' boy? I need some of that too!" Then he also said i am very tolerable to pain. He said it was Dangerous because if i had a heart attack, i wouldnt even know it. But then again, he said its very useful if u break somethin or bleed badly. Well anyways...
My point is ALWAYS TAKE X-RAYS and NEVER BUY ANY SORT OF BRACE UNLESS UR INSURED. Man this sucks.... :angry:
