i dont know his name off hand i could check he was in an xfiles episode i think it was called fallen angel he looks exactly like robert i mistook him for robert englund i swear they were seperated at birth he might be a little taller mayb 6'0 or 6'1he played the alien conspiracy theorist youd have to see him like a young englund and he can play crazy/schizo- Aaron

He certainly has a Rob Englund look about him! But I think when the time comes for Robert to quit, they should kill Freddy off (as much as we all love him!!!!) Nobody else could, or should play the part IMO. (Just like Ken Kirzinger should NEVER have played Jason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

To be completely honest, I think they SHOULD do this remake, and make it extremely dark and creepy. I honestly don't think any of the films from part 3-6 were creepy enough, and with todays technology and movie styles, this really is the perfect film to remake now-a-days!The only NOES's I really enjoyed were the first two. I do wish Robert would do it, I think his age would give Freddy more character. Hell, maybe base Freddy as an old guy instead? Rob isn't even THAT old.... But if they do make this remake for sure, I doubt they will use a Robert lookin guy.

Johnny Depp likes weird dark characters. Let him do it. But I still think Rob is the number one choice. Maybe he can direct a sequel or something.

Cant think stars, they wont pay someone that much to carry on a series that will probably suck.I love N1 and 2 to shreds, but from then on it just got silly. NN was my 3rd favorite. It's time they make Freddy to the dark twisted dream killer they wanted him to be.
