JGTH or JASON X ANYTIME!The only thing that let down Jason X was the cheap "o" looking special effects. I haven't seen special effects that effective since John Carpenters Escape from L.A. Loved the look of Jason, love the kills a solid 6 out of 10!Jason Goes to Hell (UNRATED)..............LOVED IT! - The only annoying thing about JGTH was the film score. Don't know why people hate the film so much. 7.5/10

Darko and Evol pretty much summed it up perfectly. If there is a different cut of the movie on that DVD I will probably pick it up as well with hopes that it will be better.JGTH is WAY better than the remake, the same with X. JGTH and X have probably the best introduction scenes out of all of the films and there are none of these oscar worthy lines such as: "Your T@ts are stupendous." or the all time classic "You have perfect nipple placement"

WOW!!! R u guys serious ?? maybe its because Im 30 years old and grew up with the J-man but JGTH, Jason x, and VS. are 3 of the absolute WORST movies ever made. The remake is about 50,000 times better than any of these stinkers.

I definitely gave it a chance, hell I watched it 4 times but am I the only one that feels that the first batch of actors from the beginning were more interesting characters than the second batch?I always thought JGTH to be underrated and quite frankly the first time I watched it I couldn't stand it. But after watching it again and actually paying attention to the details it turned out to be pretty good. Oh, yeah and in JGTH he doesn't have his secret underground lair, lol.

You can suspend disbeleif for all that, but not a lair? I'd take the lair over that kinda' utter nonsense any day, but that's my own rationalizing.As for dialogue.. it's never been particularly great thoughout the films, but I felt this was no worse than any of the others.To me.. I thought it was nice to have a "reboot" to that mess instead of trying to sequel that dagger and worm nonsense, AND a half cyborg jason with a burned-off mask at the bottom of a lake on "Earth 2".It's just an opinion though.. we all got 'em. You can't "reason with" a favorite choice simply because it's more of an emotional one, rather than being grounded in rational decisions or whatever. I'm just glad a Jason fan actually liked JGTH enough to prefer it over others in the series, even though it's my personal least favorite. It felt more like a Nightmare on Elm Street kinda' thing to me, stretching disbeleif to infinity and beyond.
