just a thought. i seems funny to me that everyone hates remakes, (personally i do not) but go see them. kind of like buying drugs and then blaming the dealer for selling them. feed the beast and it will grow.mike

That doesn't even matter man. Hollywood will do what they want. After all they continue to allow Jason Statham to be in movies.<img src=\"http://www.getthebigpicture.net/storage/trailers/crank2_01.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

As I've said before I don't mind remakes but it seems ridiculous when they start remaking movies barely 20 years old. I think a movie should be at least 35 years old before it's even considered for a remake.

Plain and simple... Hollywood's run out of ideas for movies... there's not much you can do now days without ripping off one movie or another... or basically remaking/redoing/rebooting a movie...Cheers,Steven

robert rodriquez is a great director and judging by his catalog of films, i think that he could probably pull this off...if quentin tarentino is working with rodriquez on the project, then i will definitely be down with the remake <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"B)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" />

Christ, this is idiotic. How about Saw? That movie is like five years or so, time for a remake eh?

Well one thing is certain, remakes and reboots seem to be heavily in our future for the next few years........... steadily.......I don't mind certain remakes, example; the budget was tiny 30 years ago, certain effects were not available at the time to make the movie into what the director saw in his head etc........ when it's because no one has an original idea i find it stale! This is what we can expect to see over the next few years:<a href=\"http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/166239/55_movie_remakes_currently_in_the_works.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/166239/55_..._the_works.html</a><a href=\"http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/15211/38_planned_movie_remakes_you_didnt_%20%20know_about.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/15211/38_p...know_about.html</a> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" />
