I know there's general rules regarding the care of these masks, but is there a place to go read about how to properly care for and protect them? For example, what "dangers" does latex face? Is there a protective coating that can be added, etc. or are they all just kinda "destined to fail" at some random time?I've had a couple of masks go very very bad, and granted, I wasn't exceptionally careful with them, but I was a little suprised at how bad they got before I even realized it... First there were subtle color shifts and then hardening/cracking in those areas of the mask, and then "The Stench" began. The masks were just mass-produced inexpensive deals from a Halloween store, but I liked 'em. It was just a shame to have to get rid of them after having them for so long.
