I don\'t knwo about you guys, but I love my \'85 Don Post mask. Not because it resembles any of the movies (though I always thought it had a decent part 4 look), but of all the memories I have attached to it. I had to save up $45 when I was 13 to get that thing...in perspective, it\'s a lot like me trying to save up for a Psycho now Smile

I went to my local costume shop every single day in September and October to look at that mask until I finally had the money to get it. I looked like a damn bobblehead wearing it, but I didn\'t care...that was THE mask to have at that time. I even taped myself walking up thte street to the Halloween theme...ok, that was too much information...

Anyway, I still have it in mint condition and I\'ll never get rid of it. It\'s priceless to me. It was the first Myers mask I\'d ever seen and the first one I had until I got my NM78 last year. So, say what you want about it but I think it rocks Smile

Thats the spirit.. keep postin pics and stories of the FIRST mask u ever wanted.

I remember i wanted a Cinema Secrets Myers mask.. the official one. Remember it? It had long synthetic hair, a white pasty look?

I remember saving 45 dollars for it. I walked into the costume shop in a local mall, and i remember seeing it and thinkin how kool it really is. I asked the lady for the mask, and she said "Wow, ur gonna scare the hell out of everyone". i was like 12 at the time, i thought it was the mask that was in the movies.I saw that liscense tag and i thought i hit a jackpot. I remember i didnt wear it that year.... it was way too big and didnt look like the movie mask at all... man... good times

oh, and my very first mask that I just \'had\' to have, was a full over the head Howard the Duck mask that I thought looked just liked the movie. I skipped school in 5th grade and walked the train tracks up to the mall where there was a store called Repeat Performance that had the mask. I saw the mask, fell in love (don\'t ask why Rolleyes ) and uhm, actually went out and stole the money to get it, lol.

I did get caught though. Mom wondered where I got the mask, after a couple days I admitted where and how I got it and she whupped my ass.

She still talks about that damn mask, lol.
