Kimbo is not used to people kicking, or used to people hitting him on the ground. "Kimbo's rules" on the streets puts him at a serious advantage, which is thrown out the window in MMA fights.I have been in the martial art for 27 years by the wya, and MMA training since about 1992.

He was even able to get on the cover of ESPN's magazine. Now that Kimbo has fought someone worth a damn and lost in less then 20 seconds he has basically been exposed as a farce. Jared Shaw the VP of Elite XC as seen in the GIF was flipping out yelling at the referee that he was hit in the back of the head! Priceless.

You make no sense. Are you saying that Kimbo should have just came in and fought the top fighters in MMA to start? I don't think so. Every fighter needs to work his way up and fight "tomato cans." In fact I don't believe Kimbo should have fought anybody worthwhile until he had at least 10 fights and more preparation, not even a washed up legend like Shamrock. Kimbo is a tough brawler, but not a MMA fighter...yet.

I'm not blaming anything on Kimbo; as it's not like he has been hand picking his opponents. He fights anyone Elite XC puts in front of him and I respect him from that. He has also been extremely soft spoken and knows that he has a long way to go especially after his controversial fight with Thompson. What pisses me off is the promotion, and them acting like Kimbo is an MMA God. If you were watching the telecast last night; just hearing the announcers call the fight was hysterical. "Oh my god, this is the upset of the century." Gimme a break.

Yeah everyone is bashing Kimbo and he is not the one even saying anything. Just goes to show you that the majority of the population is stupid and believes anything they hear. They create their own hype in their own minds.
