The only thing I dont like about it is that it is after Jason X period. The original Jason was great, I actually liked Jason bein half robot for the half of Jason X, but I don\'t think I could take it for the whole 2 hours!!!

Why dont they just do another thing like they did with VS, where they just made it before X. Then Jason could be Jason again!?!

The film takes place following the events moments after "Jason X" where Jason will be confronted by an old foe, brought to his knees, and held captive at a maximum security genetic research facility. Having the series live to true form Jason has escaped...

This seems rather confusing, but this is what I made out of it...

The new film, "Friday The 13th XI: The Next Chapter", takes place shortly before Jason X. Voorhees gets surrounded by armed soldiers, gets captured, then is held in the Crystal Lake Maximum Security Prison/Research Center. Sound familiar? But instead of being frozen solid and thawed on a spaceship half a millenium later, he escapes from the building, going on another bloody rampage through the camp.

That is what I made out of it, which sounds more likely than anything else.
You are all right, how would Tommy Jarvis still be alive on Earth II?

Hear Hear. Now dont get me wrong. Kane is ok, infact i think he kicked ass in part 7. But When I think of Jason, part 3 comes to mind.

i think kane was better casue in part 6 jason became zombie adn more stronger adn meaner, so kane played that aspect of it good..but parts 9 up were horrible..8 was ok but too much love boat... the only descent sequel would be right after part 8 adn explain at the end of it y jasons head got so damn big..tommy should be killed by jason.. it should show that the acid adn toxic waste melted adn scarred jasons head which is y its on swole lol..but as we all know sequels are made for money,not to please fans

CJ was a much better zombie type Jason IMO kane was O.K. in 7 but 8-10 Kane played him more like a wrestler than a zombie killer and made him into a lumbering joke ken kicks kanes ass anyday as do any other jasons. kane whining and complaining even made me dislike him more like he owns the character of jason or something he needs to just stick with the convention circuit. JUST MY OPINION though.
