why would g.l. go and do all those changes??? that is stupid!! they should have just released the dvd set as it was originally. i still want to check it out, but it just doesnt make sense changing something that was so succesful.

Just checked my ESB disc and..It is true....Fett now sounds like a douchebag. "He\'s no good to me dead" is now dubbed over by that pusy that played Jango...picture looks great though.

it\'s a movie that millions of people love in it\'s ORIGINAL form... ORIGINAL.
P.S. These movies are not for children, watch \'em with kids and then ask the kids what the movie is about... maybe THEN you\'ll figure that out.

Well first off I have watched them with a child my 6 year old to be exact and he loved them just like I did the first time I saw them he didn\'t care that a jabba was added to ANH as a matter of fact he got all excited that boba fett was walking around in the background. Second off yes there are a small minority of people who prefer the "classics" but the majority of people on this earth could care less what changes are made we\'ll wait and see on tuesday and if you star wars purist are right then the sales of the boxset should be in the toilet, however if I\'m right they should make a killing. Lastly you should show respect when you post I didn\'t spout off profanities or get aggressive thats the problem with this board nowadays you newbies can\'t stand somebody disagreeing with you so you feel you must dispute and argue at every turn, you don\'t. This is a public forum and opinions should be shared openly and without hostility. Why do you think so many long standing members do not post anymore? because the board has degenerated into nothing more than adolecent hangout, no better than GT\'s board.

Lewis Tully, CHILL! Man, you would think Lucas just punched your mother in the face or something. The point is, he changed Bobas voice for consistancy in the series. And the voice doesn\'t mean shit when it comes to Fett. What made fett cool was the armor, Jermey Bulloch\'s stance, and the silence. The silence through out the movie is what made him what he was known to be, the most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy. It added a little bit of ruthelessness to the character. And to me, as long as he remains the one who gets Jabba his most prized decoration then I am fine with it. Oh yea, I forgot the Slave 1.
