Yeah I have done that, then get the pics on disks. I sold my scanner awhile ago though. But I figured I may as well wait until Halloween to get pics. I just use these to give a good idea, and the quality is decent up close with proper lighting. I wish I did not live upstairs in an apartment then I would take it outside for some good pics.

If lighting is such a factor, why not take outdoor pictures then? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> Or... now here's a big one... Take pictures somewhere else? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" /> Nice costume though, they are fun to make.

Well mainly because I do not want to lug it down a huge flight of steps. I could also imagine all the looks I would get being I live up town. The lighting is more a factor than the camera, as my lower end camera actually takes great pics outdoors. I love how the sun brings out all the details. I hope I make the paper again to get an 8x10 glossy. But I am not 100% sure I which Jason I will be yet, I may go as Freddy as well.

To solve the lighting issue, you can get a halogen work light really cheap at most hardware stores, and they provide massive light. I picked up one to light my work area for sculpting, and it also has the nice effect of warming the clay if I place it within a few feet of the sculpt. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />Inside an apartment, just aim it towards a wall, and it will give a really bright, soft lighting effect. In general though, I think your pics look fine for what they're used for. Shows plenty of detail and the costumes always look great!

Yeah my pics are only meant to give an good general idea, the only think you can't see as good are the very close intricate details, except up close. Too my flash does not work up close. Thanks for the Halogen light info I will look at them.
