I enjoyed it. Of course with most movies I see, I don't love it the first time through. Lame..boring...horrid pointless plot....I was literally falling asleep. It was like seeing Jaws and wanting to go for a swim.I did like Jackie as Freddy, but this is bad movie and the acting was laughable.

there's really not much I can say other than I enjoyed it. sure, it had it's cheesy parts, but what film doesn't? my only disappointment was that we didn't get to see the glove being made, or at least some sort of process of the construction.and other than the film coming to an end a bit too suddenly, I was impressed overall. jeh pulled off freddy nearly as well as heath did with joker, imo....

Saw it last night and I really liked it, This is deff. one of the better remakes I have seen.

As I've said before I never really liked the Nightmare on Elm Street films because it was little bit too comical for me. This remake on the other hand was nothing like the original. It was a much more sinister film. I liked the back story to Freddy Krueger and they had me going for there for a few seconds as to whether or not he was actually innocent. I came to my senses though quickly after pondering the thought...... this is a horror movie after all not some tragedy.The makeup on JEH was great as it was much more realistic and sinister. I thought JEH also did a good job in the portrayal of Freddy. To me his performance can best be described as a breath of fresh air after someone farts in an elevator. After so many years of Englund as the burned one it was nice to see a change and they went in the right direction. My only complaint was that he was a little over the top with his voice at some points in the film but that was to be expected. At least we didn't get Rorschach as Freddy which was one of my main concerns. The other was the use of CGI. Why is it that horror films these days use CGI for some of the most basic kill scenes. Everything they used CGI for could have been done with traditional special effects. That wall scene and the constant sparks from the glove? Give me a break. As for the pace of the film it didn't bother me that much although the dream sequences followed by storyline then dream again then some story was very bland. It was like OK here comes a kill folks get ready and now some story so pay attention. Also for a multi-million dollar film they could of gotten a hotter Nancy and that they should of showed Freddy a bit more. Overall the movie was good and I wouldn't mind going to see it again. I hope it does well so that we could all get to see a sequel.

LOVED IT!!!it was better then the Friday remake(shhhhhhhhhh)LOLJackie made a great Freddy it did take a few to get used to himhis voice was kinda blah when he talked soft put when he started yelling and laughing it was sickloved the storytheres a couple things I didnt like but other then that it was a really really good filmI do wish it would have shown him building the glove

I agree, way better than the Friday remake (that movie sucked). I dont really care much for the original nightmares, but I loved this new one! Boring at first then it gets AWESOME half way.....will def. see this again!

NO SPOILERS.........I will keep this short,....I freak'n loved this Nightmare movie!! I dont know, but I think that after the original, this might be my next favorite. Yes, it's a close second with the Dream Warriors. For me, none of the others beat this! Yes, its not perfect, but neither is any other Nightmare film, including part 1. There is very little I did not like. I just didnt like the Freddy coming out of the wall (clearly visible on the trailer, and not a spoiler). After that, I was all over this! What a treat, that Platinum Dunes really got this one right. You would never know by the critics reviews but I am definitely a HUGE fan of this, and Jackie's Freddy!!Rich
