I got the kit from Bear (Lobo) in today!! And holy jeze, I can\'t even really begin to describe how it was looking at this kit. This is something I have dreamed of litterally since I was 6 years old and saw Star Wars for the first time. And now, I\'m well on my way to attaining that dream. First off, I have to thank Bear again for the kit, he is really one hell of a guy, and has just been incredable to deal with, one of the nicest transactions I can remember in recent memory! Thanks again buddy.
Now the kit! I was giddy as a school girl getting it all unboxed, giggling as each piece was unwrapped LOL! That is until I got it all layed out, then it hit me, just how much work and time I was about to spend on this. I took a pic of it all spread out as my starting point.
I did a fair bit of work today on it actually, I was pretty surprised at how well everything was going! Quite a few of the parts fit together without much trouble, so I got all of them glued together. The rest though, will take some heating and shaping to make right. First piece to tackle, of course the helmet. It took a bit of doing, but wasn\'t too bad at all. I have the main pieces together, and will do the rest of the triming and and fitting tomorrow.
I also got the main sections done pretty much! The chest and back pieces were the easiest by far, closely followed by the ab/butt section and belt. So I have those done too. Here\'s a shot of the first day progress.
and then of course, because, hey, ya just have to try it on LOL!! You may call me Tiberious, king of the dorks! :geek:
