    could someone paint a latex mask with a paint brush or does it always get cracky, do you have to use an air bruch or is thair another way to do it?

    You can use a paintbrush, but you need a flexable base coat, i use either a pax base, pros aide and acrylic paint 50/50, or a latex base liquid latex and acrylic,ratio is usually the same, but whatch out as the latex can make colors darker, i used to put the base coat on with a brush, then pat out any brush marks with a sponge, then i would use color washes to detail, now i have an airbrush it takes half the time to paint, and gives a really nice finish, so it is a good investment, but only if you do a lot of maskwork.
