Hey fellas, another weekend and a little free time so another completed project and another lid to add to the collection. I finally received my Scout Kit the other day and after a very stressfull day it\'s all done. This was a real pain in the hiney, you wern\'t kidding were you Travis! and you were also right about the masking tape, think I should buy shares in 3M Tongue

Snapped plenty of pics as I went along so bare with me.

The rough kit as I received it...

    All trimmed up...

First fit, found a bit more trimming needed and a little lovin from the heat gun...

Finaly fitted about right so glued, bonded and bolted up...

Decals, visor and mouth piece and bingo! my completed Scout helmet...

But completed didn\'t mean I was happy, looked too clean and new for my liking so time to get messy and give him that forest action look  And this is the completed completed lid...

    And then there 8...

Big thanks to Travis for his help with this one and steering me in the right place to grab this kit

    Thanks for looking peeps.

Right on Andy!! That came out brilliant!! And no, wasn\'t a joke when I was warning you what you were in for LOL!! Lotta fun though, a good challange always is! And it came out beautiful! Really nice weathering too, has to have some, no such thing as a clean Scout! And real glad I could help, guess we\'re even then, for the thread I\'m about to post!
