Friday The 13th Lamp Promo Qyestion?

Well i\'m trying to figure out if I have all the video Store promo items for the Friday movies. Does anyone know what movie the lamp was used for?

I have it but i\'m just wondering. I want to know about the lamp as much as I can.

I believe they were simply sent to Video stores to promote the release of the film Friday the 13th: A New Beginning in 1985. The reason it was a lamp was to add an interesting take on the poster with the light coming from within the Hockey Mask. So they made a lamp to illustrate this as posters took up a lot of room in stores and many store owners in the mide eighties were just lazy, and this item would be more eye catching when you went to your local video store. Prompting you to maybe ask what\'s the deal with this. Then the clerk could explain a new friday the 13th film just hit video. Very cool piece and one of my favorite promo items from the series. Nice score.

It\'s one of my fav items in my collection, I thought it was for Part 5. I have everything else so That\'s GREAT to know. Now I can move onto collecting something else from the fiims.

the queer hockey mask was probably used becuase it was too hard to get an accurate hockey for the display at the time

so they probably just ordered a few of the cheapo street hockey masks and walah

I like the Hockey Mask on it. It gives it that odd cool friday the 13th look. It\'s just an awesome piece and I love it.
