A small airplane just struck a 20 story apartment building in NY - smack dab in the middle. Anyone know any more news than that yet? Maybe other news stations have footage or something and know whether or not it was intentional...

CNN and MSNBC differed on a few things on their reporting of the incident. CNN is saying it\'s an airplane. And now CNN has decided it\'s a 50 story building, rather than 20.

And we have an answer: "Officials at the Federal Aviation Administration and the FBI said there was no reason to believe the incident was terrorism-related."

pilot was Corey Lidle - pitcher for the NY Yankees. And apparently there was another passenger, and a distress call had been made. Technical difficulties, I\'d suppose...

Seems like a building would be easy to evade. More likely a mechanical malfunction.

Yeah, I just saw it was Cory Lidle. I was shocked to see that on the news. The guy just pitched a couple innings in a playoff game this past Saturday.
