Thoughts On F13th Series.

I\'d like to begin by saying that I think the series went to hell with the "To Hell" installment. Right, a lot of people claim that it was a good idea selling the rights to F13th to Knew Line simply because they were the so called king of date movies having done NOES and so on and so forth. I would have possibly enjoyed Jman goes to hell more if he had actually been in the movie more. I understand that the director was trying to take Jman away from the audience for almost the entire film so when we got him back we would appreciate him more. I mean, come on....everyone appreciates the Jman. Regardless IMO that alone killed this movie. Jmanx just sucked IMO. I mean come on this isn\'t a Star Wars movie, right? I know they took him to Manhattan before that but they should at least have kept him on this planet. Disliked the look of the Jman in this installment as well. Especially the "Uber" Jman. And finally that burned guy vs. Jman....this movie was okay but they could have made it a lot better. Especially with the hype surrounding it. I mean, I had been reading stuff about this movie since the mid 90\'s. I understand they went through a lot of screenwriters for this film, bad choice i guess. Everything before these movies IMO were golden.

Although in some odd way I like them all, the true production value of the series went down the toilet after The Final Chapter. The first 4 films were actually pretty damn well done in my opinion. Everything after that was pretty bad. We really didn\'t see any real substance with the franchise until the Vs. film.

In my opinion part 7 was exciting as hell. I loved the way he looked and the little match up against the chick. FvJ was great to watch but man i wish they would of made it longer than what it was. Simply didnt want to leave the damn theater when it ended lol.

JGTH should be re-made...it was a crock of filth larn flarm filth! Jmans look in the movie was awesome and we should have seen more of him!!! I say re-make it!!!!!!!

I agree with all you guys points of views. the classic Jman is the best. although i love the undead Jman and the movies that followed the final chapter. all up until JGTH....i agree this movie could have been alot better. although i did like this look of jman....hence, that\'s where my avatar came from. thanks guys for the replies and keep \'em comin\' :thumbsup:
