I need to know what was done to or used on this mask that has caused it to be "sticky". I managed to get off the blood that was added, but nothing I\'ve tried so far has removed the sticky feeling from it.

Shitty deal Aaron.... Wonder why he never said anything about it being "sticky"?
Cheers Steven

Well, I\'m not really feeling ripped off. Would have been nice to know ahead of time is was stcky, but it WAS only $65. LOL. I just need to know what he used on it, so that I can start fixing it. LOL

He probably used some stage blood, on some plastics it NEVER dries. Could also be a 2 part epoxy using only 1 part. Not sure if it would ruin the paint job, but lighter fluid strips sticky stuff real well.

As I already said, I got off the blood that was added. That was no problem. The whole mask has a stickiness to it, inside and out, not just the area that the blood was added. Already tried using lighter fluid (no stranger to that little trick Travis LOL). Also tried regular soap and dish soap. Ever repaint an action figure with enamel paint, and no matter how long you let it sit and dry, it\'s still sticky? That\'s what it feels like. The whole thing is tacky. The mask has more weathering than DMC comes with standard, so it\'s whatever he did to try and weather it that is the culprit.

Hunh, that\'s odd, I thought you just meant under the blood. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about the enamel paint on a figure, still waiting for one to dry I painted 3 years ago LOL! Shit, you might just be best off sanding it all down and repainting in that case. Or, do you think it would work to give it a coat of sealer? Like a spray on clear coat, or varathene.

Gonna have to sand it down probably. Needs to be repainted anyway. Definately was not properly taken care of. Would just make my job easier to know what I\'m dealing with. LOL
