    hey guys,

    i just finished up this for my sister for christmas. It\'s the auryn from The Neverending Story. I got this from Superman Dan Drista a week or so ago as a raw casting. I did the trimwork, sanding, painting, detailing, etc....Also put it in a shadowbox and added the placard...let me know what you all think...

    Looks great man! You did a fantastic job on that, really has a realistic metal/bronzing effect to it. I bet she\'s going to love it!

    A very affordable way to make an accurate looking auryn. I\'d like to snag another! I\'ve seen some real metal ones on ebay but they\'re so damn expensive. Kind of tough to pay 300$ for pot metal cast pieces that small..not like it costs an arm and a leg to make.

    But damn that looks awesome! Glad it got there..forgot to ask

    thanks for all the nice comments guys. Also, thanks again to Dan for selling it to me. As soon as i finished this i had to build a bed from scratch for my niece for christmas as well. I finished staining it just a couple of hours ago and its now drying as we speak....i won\'t bore you with pics of it...lol....
