Jake..I think you mean well on this and I can tell you love this character..but it\'s just so hard to get such an expensive commission going on a remake film.

I\'d love to see another old school Pluto like the one Eliot Brodsky did a few years back.. that thing rocked!

So you spent $400 on Matt\'s Pluto and consider it to be no good?

... and I assume you\'re referring to Bob\'s new Pluto sculpture for this project?

I would like to agree with you that he\'s taken care of... but not really. Eliot makes very very limited pieces... usually only 5 or so total. So I\'d like to see someone else do a high quality Pluto in a run of 20-30 that is comparable to Eliot\'s in accuracy. Why would the sculptor not want you to release his name just yet?

I think $700 is on the very high end for a piece like this. I\'m very happy with my EB Michael Berryman Hills mask and would like to get a Pluto from the remake.. but have no interest in getting even close to $700 for a silicone one.

While 700 is on the higher side, it isnt that bad. When you figure in things on higher end busts like acrylic teeth, glass eyes, hand puched hair, foam filling and usually some kind of a base or support. If done by the right artist, say a casey love or conor mcullagh to name a couple, this could def. be worth that price.

With that said, who is the artist?

I\'d be interested in the 70\'s pluto, elliot did a great job but as mentioned before only 5 people or so got them. C\'mon someone make a new michael berryman pluto!!
