I am searching for the perfect 6 undermask, and noone makes it, and seeing that you share the same interest... <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" /> I am not saying mine is anywhere near perfect, but I am definately going for the CJ look.I did listen to your suggestions for the jawline, and i have to say it is looking SOOO much better!Problem is, I removed the eye area. Not sure how I will fix that up, but it will take some time... It looks more accurate when i took the clay away because it completely deepened the socket.I have that picture. I am not 100% positive if that is the real CJ sculpture though. Here's all of my reference... I just transfer it into my brain, since my printers broken....http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w134/jo...Jason/Part%206/BTW, I was not happy with how the (viewers angled right side) looked at all! Once i fixed the jawline, it looked much better! Thanks for that observation. I didnt take pictures of that view before because i didnt like it.And guys dont get mistaken, for once JONATHAN is doing a good sculpture! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndI will admit, I've been looking for a great part 6 undermask for quite some time. I want a pull from the original mold, but since all the information I can get is "it's gone" (which I don't believe at all), I'd like to see a good replica that is true to the original. To be perfectly honest with you, all of those screen caps in your Photobucket are horrible/laughable quality for a project like this one, and show next to NO head detail at all...They're just blurs. Some are even skewed vertically. Especially since the design you're doing is so intricate, you need some better reference material. Do you have AIM or another instant messaging program? I have a few pictures you really, really need to see. Hit me up with a PM when you can. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> And by the way, that pic I posted IS indeed an original CJ mask scanned from some kind of horror mag produced in the 80s.. I can't remember what the mag's title was...I'll try to find out later today and post it here.EDIT: Adam, <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" /> ...That reminds me of the T-1000's memorable last words: "Aarrrrr, where'sss all the rummm..mm...gone...?.....*splash*"Cheers,Ryan

Sickness my friend, if Ryan is offering help take it mate and it can only help with your project, Ryan has helped me out in the past and his knowledge and pointers were priceless for me.He is very honest and that is a great thing to have for your project, keep sending him updated pics and let him pick through it, you know he will be doing it in an encouraging way and not a criticism.Reading his posts you can see he is making observations that have helped already. One thing i can tell is you love what you do and have a passion for it and that is a great start, your sculpture as Ryan said needs more work but has the potential to be a great piece, good luck bro and be sure to keep us updated:thumbsup: You use a Hockey Mask for size reference?

I think it's coming along pretty nicely for the refs you have to work with.A heck of a lot better than I could do.
