Spfx Old Man - Haired.

I just finished hairing Dr Channard'sspfx old man. I know Matt will want to take his own photos..., but as Im quite chuffed with this I thought I'd chuck these up...finished yesterday. Wow, that's really good. Awesome job Colin.Question wise, what do you do with the hair that's inside the mask that's been punched through? How do you secure it from coming back through?I tried punching hair before but never knew what to do with the inside hair...

Thanks ladsRahl, there is no inside hair...I use the surrounding silicone to hold it.....to fully secure it I also use a pinhead of silicone... time consuming but it brings better results..

I love this piece, its got such realizm, as awlays it couldnt look better mayney, love you work bro, i can see alot of fun with this piece, i once had an old lady that was very real looking, i got a dress and a kane from grama and some shoes, keep in mind im 13 yrs old at this time, i started telling all my neighborhood friends that a crazy old lady had escaped from the mental ward down the road and that i had seen her late at night walking thru the neighborhood, holy shit did i scare the hell outta these kids, man i kept putting my old lady outfit on and walking around from a distance with a kane and kids would run as soon as they spotted me, i would only do this at night, well one night one of the parents had called the police and and the parents had cornered me to a large woooded hill, so i figured id wait it out but the damn cops showed up and started up the hill with flash lights and i ran down the backside only to run right into a waiting cop, he hit me with his spot light and ordered me to the ground, he then cuffed me and realized i had a mask on and took it off enough to see my face, he chuckeld and asked what the hell i was doing, so i explained, he got a pretty good laugh out of it then returned me to the waiting parents and my school mates, then let them gather around and revieled my identity, man that was imbarrassing, i definately learned a lesson, he didnt even tell my parents, he just dropped me off at home and said i hope you learned a lesson take care kid, lol, didnt mean to take over the thread, the mask just reminded me of that time thought it would be a funny story to share, i would love to have a mask like that again they are a lot of fun, as i got a few more storys from my old lady mask but will spare for now!!!!

colin, you beat me to it - i guess you posted this up on the HMA already too you know, this old man could easily pass for an old woman, especially with long hair. put em in a old lady house dress and it would work - its a pretty androgenous face. my problem is i'm over 6 foot which is about the height of two old ladies on top of each other.
