<a href=\"http://www.monstermakers.com/product/perma-wet-gloss-coating.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.monstermakers.com/product/perma...ss-coating.html</a>Is this what is used to achieve the look for Jason's wet look in part 8? I would like to coat my part 7 to have that shiny wet look, and my part 8 suit eventually when I make it. Also which latex do I have to buy to paint over cobwebs? Liquid latex? I am looking for that so I can permanently attach cobwebs to my part 6 clothes, and maybe even the mask. Would I need clear liquid latex? Perhaps Sickness could answer this as I believe he used latex on his part 6? Thanks.

well ive never used perma wet but I know it's made to bend so cloths are nice with it. In part 8 they just kept soaking Kane repeatedly with a meta mucil like slime.

Anyone ever use clear coat spray paint? Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear? Would that work?

Nope, aerosol laquers are too thin and will be absorbed by the clothing before they dry. Also it's not flexible so it would flake off the mask and make a mess of it.You need to use something quite viscous (thick) such as an acrylic gloss medium so it won't get totally absorbed before it dries. Last time i did this i used 2 parts Liquitex acrylic gloss medium mixed with 1 part liquid latex to make it more flexible. If I were you I would use Aileen's Fabric glue from walmart. I know Justin is fond of that stuff and I've always had good results with it

All perma wet seems like to me is acrylic concreit fortefier that you add to plaster. I know Mike Hopkins seems to think that's exactly what it is...it isn't beyond monster makers to repackage pre-existing products
