I agree with SuperDan. The posts like "Man wish I could buy that" or "Hey this is a good deal someone should get it" are just unnecessary and pointless.

If your reducing the price everyday by $50 I think it deserves to be bumped because I may not have bought it at full price, but when it gets slashed in half and I can afford it...I buy it!Whats wrong with that? I mean it doesn't take that long to go through the first few pages of the classifieds if people are making there posting topics clear... <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"banana.gif\" /><!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI agree 100% Bellamy...isn't this why we have Moderators?? If they see something wrong, they will correct the problem...if it stays, then there must not be a problem. So why should we cause one by starting a "Boo-Hoo, it's just not fair, blah Blah BLAH" thread?! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" />

Updates should be posted on the item. Some people just like to whine and cry because their crap wont sell.

I know I've deleted several topics in classifieds for people bumping every day or so. I get flack every time from the member that posted the topic, but them's the rules. I've also deleted posts linking to ads on the HMA. Everyone reading this thread should take a minute and re-read(or read for the first time) the rules topic that is pinned in the classifieds section. I don't catch every thread that's being bumped constantly but when I do, you guys have to understand that I don"t do it to be a jerk, I do it for the other members who lose sales because of the bumping. In all honesty, I don't see this thread changing anything in the classifieds. It's a good thread but people forget quickly or just don't care.

I know some of you say that it's just people that are upset because their stuff is not selling and we're capable of checking the other pages, but to be honest, most of us log in on the fly. Now I try to take the time *when I have it* to sit down and read several pages of topics, but if I'm at work and I log for a quick second to see if anything new is up, I'm only checking page one as A LOT of us do. And despite anything, it really isn't fair when you've got person A following the rules and waiting 7 days to bump, while person B is bumping every other day trying to get more exposure. If they do a price update, then update the topic, don't post new. If 30 people decided to bump all of their stuff on on day...then guess what...the guy who posted a new topic is immediately bumped to page two. now that's not fair. If 30 people who waited the week and then bumped then so be it, but it's generally not, it's people trying to unload their stuff super quick so they can get money for a new score in time.Anyway that's just my two cents,Joseph

Here's an interesting for sale guy. I'm sure you guys know him from michael-myers.net but he really doesn't even post here besides to sell something.<a href=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/index.php?showtopic=25073\" target=\"_blank\">http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/index.php?showtopic=25073</a>he listed 4 separate threads when he could of easily listed it in one. I merged themI'm warning everyone right now though, next time I have to do that I'm going to delete them without warning. It's annoying. So if you happen to have for sale posts similar, I'll give you a pass for today. Fair warning right?

It sucks because you would think because we clearly posted rules about this stuff, people would, i don't know, follow them? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />But yea, theres tons of new people here all the time, most of who Im sure don't bother to read any stuck rule threads.....which can obviously screw up other members threads.I have no problem with updates but maybe do something like editing your title with the update instead of posting in/bumping your topic.Im also a big fan of the idea that the classifieds should be on strictly a PM basis, where as someone posts a pic and a price, like in the want-ads and then whoever is really interested just calls/pm's the seller....The way classifieds works now, and everywhere else just leads to too many inconveniences like what we have here...because its still a message board in there, it works like one when maybe it shouldn't.
