ok the question is simple but hard to ask..i sculpted a new paul slipknot mask (bars in mouth) and i put the bars in the mouth and have it all ready to mold BUT i was thinking about it, and would a mold work with the bars in the mouth? or would i have to take them out? theres pics attatched...so i asking could i mold this even thouh there are bars in the mouth? (half head mask btw) the reason is ont think itll work is because the hydro cal will go behind the bard and when i go to por the latex the bars wont be there cuz the mold will have illed them in Huh yeaa its hard to understand

if the bars are solid and your ultracal goes more than half way around them then yes the ultracal will form a lock around them, either sculpture them out of clay or just add them in after you cast the mask, also a good substitue for the bars would be q-tips or even a little pieces of thick silver solder.

if you sink them back into the clay half way you might be able to get away with it
