Who makes a good replica prop knife? No metal would be better yet, as I need one for parades and parties. I have a real one which are easy to find. I seen some on ebay in the past, but am starting to research this now as I plan on "resurrecting" my 1985 Don Post mask and creating a new costume after about 10 years of being stagnant in the closet. I went as Myers many years, about 15 before I switched to other costumes and Jasons, as it started to feel too plain to me. But everyone was always scared and loved my costume. I had the green coveralls growing up but they are kinda tight now. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> I prefer the light form-fitting ones as opposed to the heavy hot ones. Anyone know where there are any good ones at a resonable price? I did not check locally yet, but seen some at Walmart that looked like the heavy ones. Wasn't there 3 colors, blue, grey, and green? Been a LONG time since I saw the movies. But all these posts are peaking my interest again being I was a fan so many years. So the Myers bug is now haunting me again! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/devil.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"devil.gif\" />

Here's a link to jc_70's catalog of products. His replicas are completely safe and very realistic, not to mention he's a terrific guy to deal with. I have an H1 Lamson myself. I think he might sell on ebay at times, but I'm not sure of his user name.

OMG!!! Those look fantastic. What are they made of? Plastic? Metal? Are they expensive? I would be interested in the H1 "Laurie," and the Jason machete one day if the price is reasonable. I take it that if they are metal they are dulled? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I hope to have the whole collection someday. The H20 and the Lamson really caught my eye at first, especially the glare of the H20! This is almost 20 inches long! He said that is how long the movie one was, but I am not sure.I will have to compare, but even so the bigness of it can at least be seen very well and will attract A LOT of attention. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> I quit going as Myers about 5 years ago because I never was happy with any replica knives I could find, and was not going to carry a toy one around with such an expensive and scary costume, as it would kill the illusion and character. I got brand new coveralls now and will be getting a psycho as well, and pretty soon Myers/SirBrad will be coming back home and will be resurrected. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Should make a great life-sized as well as soon as I get the hands and closed fist. For the question above:"My "real hilt" H1 and H20 and H1 poster knife is $120 & $130 shipped. My RZ, Elrod and all of the others (mentione above) with my "hilt illusion" are $80 shipped. The ones with the "real hilt" look very much realistic but the ones with the "hilt illusion" also look very real too. You can't go wrong with either way but if you want to be totally convincing with the H1 style or H20 knife, get the more expensive one. These are safe indeed and they are mainly made of nylon plastic with paper thin aluminum faces to give it the true and authentic shine But very much safe. All of my knife reps have real wood handles. The blade is basically the difference. I normally get these out to customers very quickly after I receive payment."
