Very sorry about yor loss man.My uncle did basically the same thing not too long ago.Was going through a rough divorce and took his own life....He just didn't try to take anyone with him.Actually just tonight my cousin got shot in the back by his room mate and now he's in the hospital going through surgery to get bullet shards out of his lungs. The dude straight dropped him off at the hospital in my cousin's car and left. Sorry again... I feel your pain bro.

I'm sorry, perhaps I mis read - you used to buy loads of LIVE AMMO, GET DRUNK, AND FIRE ROUNDS OFF FOR FUN? Does that not strike anybody else as the least bit alarming? I love shooting, but I treat guns with a bit of respect. Never in a million years would I pick one up when pissed. Seems some people never learn.I'm sorry for your loss, but dude, it's not cool to get drunk and fire guns off. Thats how you become a statistic. And if you do,I would suggest posting about it on forums aint a good idea... It's no wonder that Americans and guns get the reputation they do when people go posting stuff like that on the internet. Does that fact that their sole purpose is to kill, not make you think about giving them at least a bit of respect?

Dude.. I'm finding it pretty hard to relate your sorrow. Sure, the basic synopsis of this is sad.. a friend who thinks his wife is cheating on him discovers them together and in a fit of ragetries to kill them and then ends up shooting himself dead... sad... tragic... etc.. etc.. For that, I'm sorry for your loss...But what I personally can't relate to... is your one statement... "mean not to get to personal but me and this guy were so close we swapped ol ladys every now and then". I'm about to getmarried on 10/31 and for me, marriage is a pretty sacred thing. I just don't get how this person can swap "ol ladys" with you and still get upset that she's also with another guy? I don'tget it. But I respect everyone's desire to do what ever they want.. I don't have to agree with it.. but again, it does cause me to not feel as sympathetic as I probably would otherwise.Alcohol is no excuse for murder. There are a lot of lessons to be learned here. Hopefully, after your grieving period is over you can sit back and take a long, hard look at what happened. If there is no one else as close to you to talk to, then by all means, post away here....Take it easy man.DaveChainsaw9

There's a lot of parts to this story that make it difficult to empathise....

Sorry for your loss. And I'm quite surprised to see the sheer lack of sympathy from some people on this board. Especially Hellbilly1965. As far as I'm concerned, you should just shut up if you don't have anything supportive to say. It's a tragic situation all around. Obviously the guy wasn't in his right mind since he did things that no logical and stable person does. Imagine if this was one of your close friends who just "snapped" while being under the influence. You would be devastated as well and your utterly insulting statements and useless rhetoric is salt on his wounds. You're no help to anyone right now and it's best to not participate when you say what you did.
