Hey I recently received this e-mail from Ebay, Anyone get one too?? I dunno what fees they want me to pay??

    Quote:Dear eBay customer,

Due to our new services you have to pay for your eBay fees. You can pay with your credit/debit card. We will ask for your credit/debit card only once. We will charge your account once per month. However you will receive a confirmation request in about 24 hours after the credit/debit card is authorized. You have 24 hours from the time you\'ll receive this e-mail to complete this eBay Request.

    Cheers

To use eBay you have to pay fees, it clearly says this under the terms and conditions. Did you assume that eBay was free? I\'ve been using them for about 5 years now and I have my CC billed once a month for all my listing and final value fees. Welcome to the world of online auctioning!

Be weary of emails though. If they want CC information through email DON\'T DO IT! It\'s obviously a scheme. I have always paid my fees through my CC with eBay and they haven\'t sent me an email yet like the one you\'ve shown us.

LOL, no wonder you got the email. Have you been selling on eBay or just buying?

As a seller you have to pay fees, but as a buyer you are not required to.

Do you gotta pay for being a buyer? I have never been asked to pay for anything besides an auction I won. Are you talking about for sellers only?

every time you sell something, you have to pay a listing fee, and then when it sells you have to pay a percentage I think

Yeah, just when you sell stuff you gotta pay. They give you like forever to pay, but after a while interest is added to the selling price.
