I thought he was phenomenal and absolutely perfect as Rorschach.

However, I would be willing to bet there were tons of people disillusioned and disappointed by the movie. I had never read the graphic novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it...however, the crowd who knew nothing about the comic and went in expecting to see another Spiderman were probably really confused...All in all, I liked it... 'a different superhero movie' is a great description.. However, this movie has done more that $55,000,000 so far and I am willing to bet a ton of those who saw it were clueless as to what they were going to see.

Exactly. I think a lot of people were expecting another Batman or Spider-Man type of movie, where it's "all" about the action, special effects, humor and a big climax at the end. I could tell that a lot of the people I saw it with were very disappointed and sort of 'what the..?' at times.Anyway, as I said, I absolutely loved it and I can't wait for the 4-hour version to hit DVD. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"

I saw this at Imax and totally LOVED it! I had not read the graphic novel before seeing it. I think it had some great action spots and the almost 3 hours seemed to fly by for me! Seeing it on an Imax screen was amazing! Sound and Picture quality was totally amazing! Definitely worth the extra $3!! (You should see the new Transformers trailer on IMAX.. WOW!)Can't wait for the blu-ray!!DaveChainsaw9
