Did anybody else check out this flick today? Just got back from the theatre tonight. I was actually surprised I enjoyed this one, thought it was better than the original movie. The original was still good, but this one was much more fast paced, imo.

I saw it this afternoon. I really liked it, pretty suspenseful at times too. The acting was surprisingly good, the characters seemed very real. I just would have liked that the end scene be worked into the ending action a little better, so it wouldn't seem like it was just tacked on.

I thought it was pretty cool. Kind of a quick movie, but other than that it was great. Please dont take the following remark the wrong way. (possibl spoiler as well)Being as much of a film buff as I am, and soon to be film student, the rape scenes was one of the best (acting wise) that I've seen. Ive never felt more sorry for a girl as I did while watching this scene. Although it was a movie, I kept hearing in my head "I hope this guy burns in fuckin hell". And I usually dont connect with characters that way.Again, do not take that remark the wrong way. I just found it to be very believable and well acted. Im sure the scene will spark controversy soon, though.

Hated the original film. It's disturbing and really has no point whatsoever. What did you guys like about the original? I've watched it a few times and can't seem to enjoy it.

As a huge fan of the original (it's actually my 2nd favorite horror movie of all time), I'm really looking forward to see what they've come up with. I somehow doubt it'll be playing at the theaters over here, though...

Looks like a snuff film to me.

I just don't understand how people can 'enjoy' this type of horror movie...
