Hey all... many of you are aware that I've been desperately seeking a new aging method that was quick, consistent, and gave me a color I was happy with. I decided to really think outside the box last night and came up with a method that was about 75% faster than my previous aging method but it also gives me a color I was happier with. I know some people on here just got their gloves from me that had the old method but I honestly didn't know I was really even going to experiment again until last night. Here's the result of my most recent attempt. I took some outside shots for direct natural light and also an inside shot using natural light but not direct sunlight.Any thoughts on this look?

I like it! Only, I feel the back plate should be a bit more gold, and not as dark.Looks great! You keep getting better and better.

The backplate really isn't as dark as it looks. It's just the shadows and the angle of the photo. Here's a direct photo of the backplate with flash to show it better. Tried to not get any reflection of the flash so it shows true color instead of reflected light.

Looking good. Thinking outside the box always produces great results. And the fact that you work so hard to perfect your gloves is admirable. I hope I can order from you soon.

Thanks guys... this glove uses my current templates. But once again. when I run out of my current stock, I'll be updating it again. I PRAY it works because I'm honestly tired of tweaking the templates. The entire glove is getting smaller. The fingers are shortening, the blades are shortening, and the backplate is shrinking. I hope to build a prototype using my newest templates within two weeks. I've come to the conclusion that the armature on every single Part 1 replica that I've made AND seen from others is simply too big. So, I've started from scratch and redesigned everything from the ground up. You may think this is insane, but grab a ruler or measuring tape and measure out 3 7/8". That's the length of the new blades on my next glove. Wait until you see it on the completed glove. I was shocked that the real original blades might actually have been around that length all along.

Really like that new look, and excited to see how the new templates work.Would also just like to say that your hero prototype I have is still the absolute BEST glove I've ever owned. I have since collected several other gloves from different makers, and I keep going back to yours. It's the only glove that makes me FEEL like Freddy when I'm wearing it. Lightweight, durable, and flexible. It becomes a part of your hand and feels natural with a full range of motion. To anyone considering a Freddy glove, Mark's gloves are top notch!
