In playin around with my new D-SLR I decided to shoot one of my favourite pieces I've painted up! A 1/6th scale zombie maquette sculpted and cast by Jake Anderson. This was SUCH a fun piece to paint, the detail work is staggering, it really let me come up with some great results, play with depth and shadow, shading and tone, and pop out! I was a little intimidated a first with this guy, I wanted to bring Jake's incredable work out, so I felt a little pressure Took my time, and really played with the color pallette, there's probably a dozen different shades and tones on this guy LOL I was (Dern, I done gone and growed another head) happy with the final results, and say as humbly as I can, this is my best work. I've never been all that happy with the pics I've shot of him though, until now just took getting an SLR to do LOL I shot these with varying aperture, low ISO, mid to high shutter, varying depth of field, and a warm difused light through a photocube. Any pro, or avid photographers like me, I'd love any feedback on the shots, since I'm still just starting to get the hang of things!<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom4.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom6.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/travsall/dzom7.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
