Also:<img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_6193.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> The ear is now Ted's. As you can also see, due to the detail of the shot, I have a good deal of refining left. I have been spending most of my time getting the back of the head sculpted more accurately to the original design. I hope to have pics of that soon as well.I am getting increasingly nervous about meeting my deadline of August 15th. If I fail to make it, rest assured, I will still have this piece fully completed not long after. I just refuse to cast this until it is as close to perfect as I can get it.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI definitely concur... don't rush it!! Make it perfect even if it takes until Christmas. You've already spent 2 years on it, a couple more months is cool. The ear looks great.

Agreed. Take your time, it's already the best attempt I've seen!If I can afford it, and you'll be producing it, you can bet your arse I'll be owning one.

I was hoping to be finished with this sculpt weeks ago, however, things are still progressing nicely. I have been working on refining, and applying texture. All of my work now is fine, meticulous detail, as well as minor alterations and fixes.<img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1755.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1752.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1754.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1762.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1761.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1758.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1756.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1757.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c126/manglermangrum/IMG_1764.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />At last, you can see the infamous back of the head. This is, from all the reference I have gathered, what it should look like for the most part. At least as accurate as possible based on said references. As you can see, the face is starting to look more natural, and organic. Less like tools were used. There are some details that need to be toned down somewhat on the back, and sides of the cranium, although the lighting does make the details look extra harsh. I've also made some additional refinements to the left eye and ear to look closer to that of Ted White. This sculpt is really in the home stretch, finally. I apologize for the time this is taking. I'm hoping my next post will be of a finished sculpt. Thanks to everyone for their interest in this piece, and thank you also for your patience!
