might be fun to watch, with no previews yet cant really judge it myself, but if it looks bad then no one can make me watch it ill just watch the originals still while others enjoy the new one. 3-d movies seem pretty popular around here guess making a come back

Will it be a remake of the remake, or of the original?More 3d? These movie studios seem to have a steep learning curve sometimes.Hey.. they outta' redo Halloween, or House of 1000 corpses, and do it in 3d.. And then, MAN I'd be stoked for a Freddy versus Jason Remake in 3d.This isn't how you improve your market, and SOME of them have to know that.. It's a lot like when comic books tried to save themselves by offerring foil covers, inserts, and alternate covers in the 80's. The industries don't directly compare, but they're still trying for the whole "if 9 million people decide to go see this just once, we've made $9 million times the seat price." Great, good luck, but the public is "on to you" and will start ignoring films that are being offered as gimmicks because they'll get burned again and again.

    It can't be any worse than the other TCM sequels! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />

Oh god, WHY?!?!?!?! What the HELL is with the 3D lately? The TCM franchise is doomed... I would accept new TCM remake, but their killing me with the 3D nonsense.Do they think this is the future of movies? 3D was a goofy feature, and should never be taken seriously. The last 3D movie I saw?...Toy Story.. That's where it should say.

I think there is hope in a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake if they include the following:- Bring back characters (Leatherface, Hitch Hiker, Cook, Grandpa, Grandma)- Dry leathery masks and variation in costume (like original)- Dinner Scene- 70's setting- Dry Texas environmentAlthough I hate remakes, I have to say I enjoyed the 2003 remake, not "The Beginning" though. But I feel the remake did leave out important factors of the original, that they tried to bring back in TB but it horribly failed. And as much as I hate 3D, I think if they can somehow capture the Texas dry heat I wont mind so much.I know its ridiculous to think they are ALREADY rebooting the series, but think about it, wouldn't you KILL to have the Halloween series rebooted ASAP? I know I would...

Flame me if you want but I love the 3d thing. It is a nice nudge to the 50's which you can thank that era for almost all the movies you have today. I agree that 3d movies at home are not so great but hell if they want to re-release a movie in 3d then go for it.Kind of funny but the movies we love so much today (TCM F13 NOES) were probably flamed after every sequel back in the 80's much like we are doing now to the remakes, 3d films and what ever else. Give it time and they will become classics to a new generation of horror fans. Lets face it these movies are not meant to be master pieces, and I think because we hold our classics on such a high pedestal nothing can compete and will always suck.
