Nightmare On Elmstreet Remake Script.

Hi guys, I just finished reading the screenplay for the new n.o.e.s. movie. I thought it was pretty good. Don't rely TOO much on this script though. It is an early draft and a bunch of stuff has been changed. There is no body bag scene in the script, there is no blood fountain scene in the script (this was added during reshoots), there is no spider scene at the end in the film, etc etc etc. Expect to see a lot of differences... though I'll bet it's a decent blueprint of what to expect but there will be many changes.

Just for fun, here's how I envision how the remake should end:Freddy gets defeated by Nancy and Quentin. Two weeks pass by and, after recuperating for a bit, the two try to continue on with their lives. We find them in Quentin's or Nancy's bed (just holding each other... lights are on and the room is bright). Nancy begins to quietly cry. Quentin asks her if she's okay and they begin talking about their lost friends and how much they miss them and how they can't believe that everything really happened and are relieved that it's finally over. The two cuddle and comfort each other and eventually drift asleep. Then suddenly, Freddy's arm reaches out of the mattress (like it did in the original when Glenn fell asleep) and Freddy starts to pull Quentin into a hole in the bed (just like Glenn). Quentin screams and it wakes Nancy and she struggles to pull Quentin free. He gets pulled deeper and deeper and is finally yanked from Nancy's grip and he disappears into the hole. Then a fountain of blood violently shoots up from the hole and completely covers Nancy and the room with liquid gore. Nancy screams as the blood flies out and when it finally stops, she stands, trembling in shock, as she tries to realize what just happened. Freddy's voice is heard coming from the hole... "I'm your boyfriend now, Nancy!" Freddy's sinister laugh is heard as the camera slowly zooms in on the face of the horrified Nancy... we smash to black... roll credits.I think ending the remake with a major iconic kill like this would be AWESOME! What do you guys think?

I think it should end with Robert Englund coming in as Freddy and telling this Freddy that there is only one Freddy then killing him off and laughing maniacly.
