my woman and i are having a "discussion" and i want some input. i will not tell you which side i am on, but would like your opinions. this is kind of gross, but here we go anyhow.

senerio: you have a cold and are coughing up green flem, you have 2 places to spit it the gobber you just hacked up.

1. the garbage disposal in the kitchen sink.

2. the kitchen trash.

sorry, i know its gross, but we need to know who is in the wrong. help me out. there is no where else to spit it, just the 2 places, so don't say outside. just number 1 or number 2.

I spit in the sink, if your significant other doesn't want you to there is also the toilet

My mother is a microbiologist and she always flipped out if any of us kids spit in the sink under any condition, back in the day. She always said that people are not aware of the microorganisms that live in the mouth and the disease they can carry/communicate. The mouth is arguably the second dirtiest place on your body (the first being your other orifice) and anything exiting either end would thus be full of contaminate. However, she always laughed at the idea of how people were grossed out by urine - which is by definition - sterile. Saliva is obviously much less innocuous. People get grossed out by pee getting on them, but have no problem kissing a stranger, so long that they are good-looking.

Thus, long story short - my mother would have said in the waste basket, hands down.

Pretty gross to put those slimey worm slugs down the sink. Thinking of dishes and stuff sitting in the sink.

well, looks like i lost this one. i was saying sink because you spit it right into the drain or disposal and its gone not sitting in your kitchen until the garbage fills and you take it out, that just seems gross to me. oh well, wont be the first time i have lost a battle with the woman and wont be the last. LOL. stainboy flipped me too neal.

i will be hocking loogies into the trash from now on.
