My wife got me an early b-day present yesterday. I went to pick it up last night and got it home. Needs to be cleaned up some but it\'ll be going into the Horror collection soon! It\'s a Batesville Casket made of solid Cherry wood! Nice condition and includes white velvet on the inside. This is not your run of the mill haunted house pine box! Smile Got get started on my Bela / Dracula display.. so if anyone know of a decent Bela piece, let me know! I brought this home in the back of my Infiniti FX35 with the hatch up! You should have seen the looks I was getting! Pretty funny stuff! Luckily didn\'t run into any John Q Law\'s.. I\'m sure I would have been stopped! Anyway.. the guy I got it from got it directly from a funeral home. This piece had a scratch on it and couldn\'t be sold as new. So he got it somehow intending to use it for Halloween.. which he didn\'t do. He originally asked 1200 on craigslist about a month or so ago and I wrote him way back when that if he didn\'t get what he was looking for, I\'d give him a few hundred. He still had it and had to move this week.. so he HAD to do something with it. The few hundred offer came down to around 100 and then eventually 75. I picked it up last night for 60 cash! Smile I need to clean it up and get it in the basement and figure out what I ultimately want to do with it.. but I think it will be worth the effort. I thought I\'d have a problem getting the wife to go for this one.. but not only did she go for it when I found the ad in craigslist.. she even got in the thing and wanted her picture taken!!! Gotta love her!

The picture attachment option of this forum does not yet work. You\'ll have to host them on an external service like Photobucket and post the links (and even then, you have to test the links to make sure they posted correctly. This forum likes to garble all forms of HTML when you post them).

Looking forward to seeing this thing...

    Cheers,

    Ryan

I saw a nice  one on ebay that\'s priced pretty good that you could pick up . It already ended but i\'m sure you can find another one by looking up the artist . Just wanted to show you the pics to see if it was anything what you\'d want . I\'ll look it up real quick and post the link for you if you\'d like .
