Don\'t know if this is old news or not but looks like Dan Yeager will be taking on the role....looks like he\'s spent most of his career behind the camera. Also looks like Gunnar will be reprising his role as Leatherface but only for flashback scenes....still gonna be interesting to see Hansen behind the mask again. Hope this Yeager guy does a good job I\'m interested to see what he\'s gonna bring as \'Jeb Sawyer\'. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3973444/

From what Dan has been posting on FB, I think he\'s going to bring us a great Leatherface. He seems pumped like Derek was talking about playing Jason. Here is some more info on TCM 3D

Very excited for this. Despite the 3D feature, which i really don\'t think will bring much to the franchise, the film is looking to shape up really well. The fact that so many cast/crew members from the original films are involved have to make me think this will at the very least, be a decent entry. I hope, anyway.

only thing that concerns me is the 3D. they should stick 3D where it belongs, in Disney kids movies. other than the 3D i say, bring it on!

The only thing I\'m a bit nervous about is the plot, and moving it to a modern setting. I don\'t see the point of that if they have the golden opportunity of picking up where Hooper left off.
Otherwise, I\'m excited as hell for this!

Modern isn\'t that bad . I mean if you were to move it into the city then yeah , but out in the country in the middle of nowhere can still be creepy weither it\'s today or the 70\'s . But I hope that they will release a 2D version of it too .

Yes, but this would make Leatherface an old man.

Yeah, would be hard for Leatherface to chase teenagers with a chainsaw when he\'s 70 years or so.
Never heard of this Dan Yeager guy but it\'s cool they\'ve gotten Gunnar Hansen and Bill Moseley for the movie.

Sounds like it might be cool, I\'ll check it out regardless, but it would be cooler if it wasn\'t in 3-D

The notion of 3D worries me, but to be honest my expectations aren\'t much for the movie. How good could the 7th movie of a franchise really be?
It will be interesting to see how they play off of Hoopers original. I\'m anticipating a shot continuation, or some tribute to 74 in setting and costume.
