Well i always wanted to do this since i am a big fan of Evil Dead, and was very happy that i found this Homelite XL housing for cheap cheap and took a while trying to find the right one that was made out of plastic instead of metal. I know there isn\'t a lot people who make this now and the only guy i knew who made accurate ones that even made working ones stopped making them a long time ago which was a guy in the U.K. His site was Evil Dead Chainsaws i know a lot of you heard of him, well i was lucky enough to get about 1,005 photos and info on how he made his saws, and hope to make them the same way he did or just as good. This will be a long project and hope to have one done by November since i want to cast some parts and go all out of this saw. I will keep you guys updated once i start and hope to have working ones later on.

    Thanks for Looking

Here is a pic of what mine should look like. This is one of the photos i had from the photos i was provided.

As for pricing this will be fair. I hoping to have some one cast the whole body since all i have to do is keep pulling the body from the mold and then adding the parts in. Since this Homelite XL is hard to come by. Plus i won\'t have to keep gutting out the engine every time someone wants a saw.

So far the body is almost done still working on the part where your hand goes took me a whole day just to get where i am at. Once the body is done time for molding.
