The first four albums were \'wicked\' Wink (not counting Garage days, that\'s a cover album)

Remember when Metallica were fast and scary? When James Hetfield would never have let lil skinny Lars bit*h him? *shakes head* James,...what happened? They use to be cool, now Kirks turned into a wiennie, James is on the \'clean living\' high, and Lars turned into a mega-rich A-hole.

At least Jason Newstead had the cajones to walk away from the band when he saw how fake they\'d become. The real Metallica is a memory. What\'s \'out there\' now is a corporate entity imo, that bears a vague resemblance to a group once called Metallica.

Thank goodness for MachineHead and Corriosion of Conformity.

Oh yeah, SLayer still waves the thrash flag pretty high too.

Sad, just sad feelings when I think about Metallica. They were the biggest reason I picked up a guitar 18 years ago. Cuz they were FAST and fast was COOL! *throws up horns and starts headbanging*

*sniff* wipes lonely tear for the memory of Metallica, MegaDeth, Exodus, Slayer, Forbidden, and all the old great thrash bands.

Metallica was without a doubt, the \'Beatles\' of thrash, they just wrote damn good songs back then.

AWSOME< they playing Metallicas Fight Fire With Fire, Yup, James needs to punch that little fart in the face. James is AWSOME, so is KIRK. Metallica is also the reason I picked up a guitar, I listed to Puppets and I was hocked from there on.

so did anyone see that \'some kind of monster\' movie that Metallica made? I saw about 5 minutes of it. When I saw Lars jumping in James facing screaming, "f**k you!!" and all that, and James just sat there like a little b*tch?

Yeah, fug those guys. The old James would have broken Lars neck, spun his head around and shoved it up his arse.

I miss Cliff Burton, Sad none of this would have happened if Cliff were still around.

ME I DID, its an awsome movie the best part of it is James and James only. Of course, the only bass player that SHOULD be with tallica, Cliff Burton.
