Did a search, didn\'t see anybody talking about this. So here I go...

The Fright Catalog has pictures of the Official Slipknot masks that are coming out.

What do you all think? I mean, official masks usually suck.

the only good thing to come out of slipknot is that cool skull mask . sorry i don\'t know the name of the guy who wears it , but i could care less . but onto the licensed masks , i think that Craig (TCM) makes way better masks and a hell of alot cheaper too Smile . if i could get a price on one of his skull masks i\'d buy one for sure .

    Thanks bud
I\'m really not sure how these masks will be in person.
The sculpts looks pretty good (for the most part) but they\'ll most likelty end up looking like shit. (as it is with most officially licensed masks)
If you\'re ever interested in a mask, just lemme know and I\'ll be more than happy to make ya one. Smile

buy them form guys on the net, not the stores, you will get better quality and more then likely at the same price.

but what I dont get is why they sell costumes now.....sure, a mom wouldnt want a kid to be Michael Myers or Fred the burned guy, but why woudl you want your 8 year old wearing a Slipknot costume?

looks like some our fullhead masks. Once u take an orginal sculpture (be it a good one or not) and enlarge it and make a million molds for it you get less detail (prolly to big to wear) and a quick paint job. so for $50 I\'d get an indy mask over these anyday. If anyone seen the orginal Waco Jacko (michael Jackson) sculpture and then see what they look like in the stores you\'d know what Im talking about... poopy poopy poopy Smile

when I say less detail Im not talking about just like a direct cast off the master. The details get washed out soooooooo much when there mass produced... it\'s like if dps had a psycho master the final result detail wise would look most likly more like a very late ul75 pull with a bright white paint job...Most the masks u see in the stores the orginal sculpts probaly looked better then alot of these indy masks around, but final results through all the processing and all that sh!t make it look well Like I said poopy poopy poopy hehe
