Man i remember that cover from way back when. I used to sit in the horror section and read the boxes, my parents would never rent any till I was like ten though. :angry:

I worked in a video store when that came out... (89-90ish)
Though I can\'t remember what movie it was.....I\'d lean towards Dead Pit going by the timeline.
I recall the box art though....didn\'t it also make sounds?

it was definitely Dead Pit! i remember the zombie had a kind of Bub look to him. yeah the VHS boxes are still the best. that\'s why 98% of my movie are old VHS horror, they will always be the best!

89 eh? I was older than 5 then. Both movies are fused in my memorie.. I found a trailler for Zombie Lake, and that scene at the beginnig was one that i remembered well. The zombies looked kinda cheezie but it all looks amazing at a young age :lol: And Dead Pit is where i remember the experimental zombies.. Some lying in water tanks, then rising.

I totally agree, any movie cover before the 90\'s was too cool! They had so much time put into them. Masterpieces! I kept all of my VHS movies, even though i buy them on DVD when a \'special edition\' comes out (i can\'t help it)
Another thing that bothers me, is when they come out with the DVD, and change the original cover, to something more \'recent\' looking. Why, WHY! Example the F13 part 5,6,7 and 8? The Nightmares were some of the best. And they had to go and change them :angry:

I have Dead Pit on vhs but my box is messed up so nol onger lights up.I wil always love vhs tapes and the boxes , im a vhs tape whore and by a assload of them............
