Just took some new pics of this mask. I didn\'t take pics after I got it back from the Mask Doctor. No work was done on this mask besides foam filling, stand built in, and open eye closed with black felt.
This mask is in pristine shape. I believe it to be the only original mint copy left that still has the original tag attatched. Kelly Mann agreed as well.
The Sam Mccain Jason 2 mask was made in 1983 using the original prosthetics from the film and incorporating them into the sculpture. It was part of the Fantasy Masters series and I believe 100 were made but as you can imagine, only a couple survived up until now.
I am 99% sure this was the first replica Jason mask ever made.
Definitely my prized piece!
