    well, im weathering a striped accurate lf shirt. I want to make it a nasty green.. what should i do? I want it to
    look like it does in this pic....

    go to you local craft store and pick up a small bottle of green and black acrylic paint. mix a tad of black with the entire green bottle in a 5 gallon bucket and add water about half way, stir well.

    drop the shirt in the solution and wait, might have to repeat the steps but you should eventually get the look you desire.

    allow it to dry before doing this process again, it will lighten up as it dries.

    hope it helps and post pics when you\'re done.

    I did it! im waiting for it to dry. I used less Dark green dye and more water. it came out great! very accurate! i just need to weather the ends of the short sleeves! thanks!

    get a screwdriver an poke a hole at the bottom of the sleeve then rip it, after you got a few threads started, rub the torn part on some concrete or brick.

    when you get a nice mess going throw it in the was and go through two cycles without drying, repeat if more distress if needed.

    I know.

    I went to the thrift store and got one. looked very very accurate.not completely but accuratre enough to pass it off as a bubba shirt! now i need an apron... an accurate one... like a bib apron the way it is in the movie
