I've always been in love with this tale. I grew up watching the awesome Diseny cartoon. Saw the movie but didn't like it. I wish they would make a movie of it that was good. Anyone have any idea what book I should read on it? If anyone has read any. They did a 4 part comic book with Ghost Rider. I have it on order and can't wait to read it. The headless horseman is one of my favorite characters.

As a horror nut as a kid, this was mor eimportant that anything to my 6 yeaar old self. i actualy made my parents take me to Washington Irvine's grave in Sleepy Hollow NY. The cemetary keeper showed me names before Washington Irving on headstones such as "Ichabod Crane, his gf lol, and 2 Brothers names Bronz [s.p] and one named Bones. Hence Brams Bones. Really something to check out. the horseman is buried there in a triangle area. cause they lost his headstone. fun trip for me

Haha I actually live where the whole story "happened" The van tassels in the story are supposed to be based on this family in town thats been around for a long time called the van allans. where I went to high school my schools name is Ichabod Crane central school district. I live about 5 minutes from the school house where "Ichabod taught" they actually just refurbished it. I should get some pics I never really thought about how cool it was until now I guess cuz it was right there in front of me.
